“Being Here Now in the Middle of Everything” A three-day retreat at Breitenbush Hot Springs, immersed in bhakti and Buddhist practice, in the forested mountains of Oregon.
In April, Kavita will join author and contemplative thinker, Rameshwar Das of Love Serve Remember Foundation and Betsy Anjani Toll founder of Living Earth Oregon to explore devotional practices and teachings from the Buddhist, bhakti, and nondual wisdom paths. We will celebrate Ram Dass’ Life and teachings in the month of his birthday and at a place he taught for 20 years.
These are the currents that flow with grace, humor, and love from Neem Karoli Baba, known as Maharajji. Together they nurture our capacity to live with compassion, vibrant courage, and simple ease in challenging times.
We'll balance meditation, discourse, and dialogue with chanting, yoga, and conversation. Laughter, tenderness, and some of Ram Dass' stories of his time with Maharajji will all mix into this rich, nourishing feast.
Morning and afternoon sessions in the River Yurt each day will break periodically to allow time to rest, soak, hike, and enjoy the beauty of Breitenbush. Evening sessions will feature call-and-response kirtan, sacred chants, and question-and-answer opportunities.
On Saturday : April 13th -
